We were instructed by our client to consider ways to better utilise dead space on this site in Aylesham, whilst upgrading the existing building. Planning permission was sought for the erection of a total of 1631 sqm / 17,595 sq ft of industrial space (including mezzanine level) divided into 6 units, with associated parking and landscaping. This also included the refurbishment of the existing warehouse south elevation to provide an appealing entrance and consistent design throughout the site. The design concept of the proposed buildings has been to create a cluster of small units which offer modern industrial and flexible space. Each of the 6 units includes accessible WC facilities along with an office and welfare area.
