promotion news and new starters

As gdm architects continue to organically grow, we have been busy structuring and developing our team to respond to this exciting expansion. Therefore, we are delighted to share that Rory Newell and Gareth Leggeat have been promoted to the role of Associate.

Rory has been a senior architect with gdm since 2016 and leads the BIM delivery in our office. His passion for driving technological integration in projects has facilitated several major workplace and residential projects in Revit, helping clients achieve optimum outcomes. Rory is currently delivering Alkerden Market Centre, a mixed-use, residential led new build scheme in Ebbsfleet.

Gareth has been a qualified architect for over twenty years and has delivered key projects across multiple sectors including residential, education and healthcare. His experience and his positive outlook have been well received by our clients and he has had a strong impact since joining gdm in 2022. Gareth is currently leading on healthcare and residential projects including Westwood Cross Medical Centre and a scheme for 78 dwellings in Herne Bay.

In further news Sam Hodges joins us from RPA as an Architectural Technologist and will be working within the technical team on a couple of our newest projects (more on those to come!) Sam has a commercial design background having worked for the RPA Group who have delivered for many high end and high street brands.
