We’re delighted to have secured planning at appeal for a site in Cliftonville, a short walk from Margate town centre.
The scheme was refused by the local planning committee, despite support from officers. On appeal, the Planning Inspector overturned the outcome citing the considered design and benefits the development would bring.
The site currently features a redundant commercial development housing a garage & workshop. To bring it back into use, 34 flats and 3 houses have been approved, designed to take inspiration from the local architecture, whilst still being contemporary in nature.
The development will revive the street frontage along the road, which is already lined by other residential properties. This was a fantastic team effort, working alongside DHA Planning Group to achieve a successful outcome.
